Buoyed by the success of the Innova Crysta, Toyota India is now going to introduce a new, special edition of this premium MPV in the Indian car market. Christened as the Innova Crysta Touring Sport, the same is to arrive in our country during the first week of May this year.
Taking a stock of what all that is going to be new with the
Innova Crysta Touring sport, all things considered, this special edition is going to be a strict cosmetic only update. Based on the top of the line Innova Crysta, the Touring Sport will feature a special wine-red exterior body colour.
Other updates are to include extensive use of chome highlights on the exterior profile of the MPV. Also included in the mix is to be black plastic claddings, on the front and rear bumpers, side skirts among the other to provide it with a sport touch. The rest of the design specifics of the Touring Sport edition remains similar to that of the standard version.
As far the engine specifications are concerned, the Crysta Touring Sport will continue to come with the same diesel and petrol derivative. The former being propelled by 2.7-litre motor with the latter taking the 2.8-litre or the 2.4-litre oil-burners. The transmission responsibilities will be taken care of by a both manual as well as automatic gearboxes.
Talking about the prices, the Innova Crysta Touring Sport will be upward of about INR 50,000 to 60,000 of the prices of the top of the line ZX trim which currently costs INR 19,62,300 for the petrol and 20,77,930 (AT) (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the diesel to own
