UDHAMPUR, MARCH 03 - Government Degree College, Udhampur today organized one day visit to Science Express –Climate Action Special Train at Udhampur Railway Station.
About 76 students escorted by Professor Sunil Singh Barheyan and Professor Vishal Sharma witnessed the Special train which was launched with an objective to generate awareness regarding various issues related to climate change, extinction of species, global warming, Conservation of Wild Life etc. The students visited various coaches of the special train and went through various Charts, Videos and Models highlighting various environment issues.
A number of Audio Video aids like Models, Charts and Videos were employed to lay stress on the seriousness of the issue and create awareness among the students.
